1. User Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the App.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it to keep it accurate.
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

2. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect the following personal information:

Name, Email ID, Gender, Contact Details, Profile Content
Professional Experience and Media Uploads (such as model portfolios)
We do not collect Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) as defined under Indian law.

We Use:

Firebase for backend services
Google Analytics for usage tracking
AWS Cloud Storage for storing user data

3. User Obligations

By using Spotlight, you agree:

Not to post false, misleading, obscene, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful content.
Not to impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation.
Not to attempt unauthorized access to any part of the App or other user accounts.
To comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.

4. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

Upload or share copyrighted content you don't own or have permission to use.
Use the App for any fraudulent or illegal purposes.
Distribute malware, phishing links, or engage in any harmful digital activity.
Scrape, reproduce, or extract data or media from the App without written permission.

5. Platform Rights and Content Use

All content, trademarks, designs, and features on Spotlight are owned by or licensed to us.
You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute any content from the App without prior written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or limit access to any user at our sole discretion.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice.

6. Third-Party Services and Links

Spotlight may include links or integrations with third-party websites, tools, or services. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of such third parties.

7. User Content and Licenses

By uploading content (images, portfolios, descriptions, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote the content within the App and its promotional materials. You retain ownership of your content.

8. Termination of Account

You may delete your account directly from within the app. If you wish to correct or update your information, you can contact our support team.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

You violate these Terms or applicable laws.
Your content is found to be harmful, infringing, or inappropriate.
You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

User data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days of account deletion.

9. Limitation of Liability

Spotlight and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your data.
Downtime, loss of data, or failure of performance.

The App is provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties of any kind.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Spotlight, its affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of:

Your use of the App.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. You are advised to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
